Camp Whip Poor Will

A lighter turnout than expected came to the first meet at Camp Whip Poor Will since the 2002 Flying Pig warm up day. It might have been that it was the first good weather weekend and people were working in their yards. Or it could have been the remote location of the camp. Or the fact that many people were recovering from the previous weekend's Flying Cold and Rainy Pig, and the reputation of Whip Poor Will for steep reentrants. But everyone who was there enjoyed the good weather and the shorter but very hilly courses.
Many thanks to Matt and Benjamin Bond for helping set controls plus running start and finish plus control pickup, to the Mandrell clan for control pickup, to Claire Dell for control pickup, to Steve Barnhart for driving down to help with start and finish, and to Tom and Gabe Svobodny, who picked up controls, then were planning on running to where the green and red controls had been.
