What a difference a year makes. Night-O 2005, we had 6 inches of snow, ice on the trails, and it was a good thing we had the K-Lodge for shelter. Night-O 2006, we had temps in the high 50's and we operated out of Freeman shelter. 25 groups came out to enjoy the exceptional December weather to run the Night-O and Search & Destroy-O. We also got to run for the first time on the revised map, with the new buildings and roads put in by the camp. Hopefully next year we will be able to use the nice new lodge as the start/finish. The rules were that for one hour, the event was score-style, with 1 point for each control found. After one hour, you then got one point for each control that you brought back in. The most number of points is the winner, with ties being decided by time. I did not catch who brought in #14 - if you did, and it affects your standing, please email me (sharonbond@hotmail.com).
