Camp Hook Results

102 people in 43 starting groups came to Camp Hook last Sunday for National
Orienteering Day and enjoyed the fantastic late summer day in the woods.
For this National Orienteering Day event three courses (and a team challenge)
were offered, white, yellow, complete, and the challenge.  Set at a
white/yellow technical level, the complete course was a combination of all 22
controls on both white and yellow.  Upon hearing the description, Tom
Svobodny suggested the name "lemon meringue".   :-)

For the advanced Set-N-Get activity participants divided into teams of two.
Each team member set a control and returned to the start/finish area where
they exchanged maps and retrieved the control.  This is a true team effort as
success in getting the control depends on the success in correctly setting
the control.
