Meet Directors – Bob and Barbara Hays

The 2022 Cold-O lived up to its name with temperatures in the 20’s on a partly sunny day at Grant Park.  There were 35 starts with a total of 51 brave participants who navigated the Score style course.  Hardy souls included Girl Scouts, Roadrunners, members of the Cincinnati and Louisville clubs, as well as a 3-month old doing his first Score style event who found 26 of the 29 controls (with a little help from his parents).  It was great to see several first-time participants and based on their excellent results we hope to see them back at future events.  Several of the controls were quite challenging; special congratulations to those who found number 73 and number 70.  Very special thanks to those who helped pick up controls after the event – Bill Donnelly, Matt Bond, and Scott Eberwine.
