The rules were simple: a mass start at 6pm, with 1 hour to punch as many controls (out of 20) as you cared to find. Each control punched was worth 1 point. 7:00pm was the start of the search-and-destroy-O. Each control returned was worth 1 point. 4 of the controls also used the white controls stands, and each stand was worth 1 point.

There was regression this year - even though it was spelled out plainly on the Facebook page, and in the instructions given prior to start, a group still untied a control and left the pole behind. Maybe on purpose? Matt Bond certainly then appreciated the opportunity to get an extra point.

The course was designed and field checked by Sharon and Seth. It really did have to be field checked, because the camp is undergoing the removal of vast swathes of honeysuckle and small trees. Many changes continued to happen even in the 2 weeks between field checking and the event.
