The courses were left in place after the meet for the following day's Turkey Hunt.  Competitors can compare their results with others who ran the same course the next day.  Greenville High School NJROTC, Badin ROKS, and Fairborn High School AFJROTC ran the same courses the following day in the Turkey Hunt.  Their results are included below for comparison only, and are marked with (TH) for Turkey Hunt.  Course conditions change from day to day, and their results are not considered for trophy standings.

The top 1/3 of finishers on a course (not counting OT's) should consider moving to the next higher course.  Finishers with an OT or DNF should move to an easier course and master it (top 1/3) before moving higher. Competitors on the green course should be confident enough in their navigation to run the entire course.

On the white course Meadowdale and Springboro duked it out with Meadowdale claiming the victory.

On the yellow course Hamilton made a good showing with several individuals placing well, including the top honors handily won by Matt Roark.  A pattern emerged with the DNF competitors on the yellow course.  It seems that for those who missed either 2 or 5 controls, most missed the same controls.  I was scratching my head wondering if the yellow course was too difficult due to the results until I looked at the Turkey Hunt results for the next day -- not a single DNF or OT.  Clearly many yellow competitors on Friday should have been on the white course.

On the orange course Hamilton again claimed victory with a top placing by Justin Kinsey.  Again, during the Turkey Hunt the next day there were no DNF's and only one OT.

I am really impressed with all the green competitors -- not a single DNF, and the OT's were not that much over.  Wayne and Hamilton really are closely matched here except for the winning performance by the Wayne team of Daniel Klepper and Josh Blankley, more than 20 minutes ahead of second place!

Great competition was had by all, and the Colonel White bus stuck in the mud provided ample entertainment.
