Attendance: 165 in 78 starts.

Wow! What a turnout! We went through our stock of SI-8 cards and broke out the old supply of SI-5 cards. We also had to do an emergency printing of more white and yellow course maps! If there's a problem to have, this is a good one.

Thanks for meet assistance:

Results are shown by division for the Jr. Champs and by course for the Shamrock Hunt in both standard results and split times. There were almost no "mp" (mis-punch) results. Everyone did a superb job getting all their controls correctly.

In the Middle School/Jr. High Individual Division, Union County Middle School's Teratin Goecke earned the top spot with a blistering fast time to lead his team to victory!

In the Rookie Individual Division, Union County High School's Jared Grissom earned the medal for the fastest time, helping his team win the large traveling trophy. For the second year in a row, close behind was the Miami Valley Young Marines, taking second place in the division. Great job!

In the JV Individual Division Hamilton High School's no nonsense team led by Hannah Apgarswept the top three spots to take the division and win the large traveling trophy.

In the Varsity Division, despite a great effort by Union County High School, Hamilton High School was not to be denied with Jacob Spangeenberg leading their way to victory and regaining the large Varsity traveling trophy after a 15 year hiatus!

The cooperative divisions also have a full slate of winners. Trailblazing Hope Outdoors won the Middle/JrHigh Division, BSA Troop 68 took the Rookie Co-op Division, Beavercreek High School came out on top of the Jr. Varsity Co-op Division, A great job by all!

The Splits report shows time spent traveling between each control. For each competitor, the first row shows cummulative time, and the second row shows each leg's split time. Look at the Varsity Division splits for Braydon Reiboldt and Ethan Powers They changed places three or four times throughout their course!

Be sure to check out the Trophy Standings report.

Additional orienteering is always encouraged. In the interest of competitive fairness, only the first course an individual or group runs is included in the championship competition. Once an orienteer is out on a course they return with advantageous knowledge of the competition area, shared controls, etc. Results for subsequent courses are listed with the Shamrock Hunt results.

In the Shamrock Hunt results, Steve Barnhart was up against some stiff competition on the grueling Red Course but managed to come out on top! :-)
