How Much Does It Cost For An MVOC Event?
Current Fee Structure
The cost per person is $8.00 (US), cash or checks only, for those people who do not have their own e-punch, or are not a club member.
We do not currently have the ability to do credit, debit, or phone payments. But we are looking into setting up a pre-registration
process through Orienteering USA. This will not be required - you can still show up the day of the event and compete. Pre-registration will simply allow people to pay online.
Occasionally there will be events that we partner with other organization, such as the Bellbrook/Sugarcreek Park District, or the National Trails Recreation
and Park District, where pre-registration is required through their process. In those cases, the fees will be different, but you will be able to pay online.
Your entry fee will get you a map of your course and an e-punch rental.
Discounts!
If you have your own e-punch, the cost is $5.00. Club members and reciprocal members, the cost is $5.00. Reciprocal members are those people who are members of another orienteering club, either nationally or internationally, Scouts, JROTC, ROTC, or organized school groups doing orienteering training. Family rate - if you have multple family members participating and you are going out in groups, we will cap your fee for the day at $15 For example, for a family of 4, if Dad goes out with their younger kid on the white course, while Mom goes out on the green course with their older kid, it will be a total of $15. Discounts are applied before we see if the family has hit their cap. In this example, if Dad and Mom both have their own e-punch, it will still be $15. Dad and his kid would be $5 (for Dad), $8 (for his kid), plus $5 (for Mom) and $8 for her kid = $26, so we apply the family cap and they will pay $15. Registration Form |
