MVOC Officers
Junior Orienteering Championships Once a year MVOC hosts a Junior Orienteering Championships. The event is usually held in the Spring. In the Fall, we hold a practice event. Eligible groups are of Junior High School and High School age. Cost is $5 per competitor.
Training is available before all club events and at your location by request. Call Matt Bond @ (937) 848-3106. Training at your location may involve additional fees and is subject to trainer availability.
Permanent Orienteering Courses are available at Cricket Holler BSA camp, Whip Poor Will GS camp, and Learning Tree Farm (SW Dayton). Permanent orienteering course maps can be obtained from the respective camp offices. Map Sales for maps other than Cricket Holler are available. Contact Matt Bond at (937) 848-3106. The cost is $5 per letter size map(8½x11), $8 for legal size(8½x14), and $10 for tabloid (11x17). Click the Locations link for a list of currently mapped parks.
