Membership Fees
Membership reduces your event entry fee to $5 (or free for juniors) for the entire year.

Membership runs January–December. Join anytime; your membership fee applies for the rest of the calendar year.

How Much Does an MVOC Event Cost?
$8.00 per person is the standard entry fee for non-members without their own e-punch. Your entry fee covers your course map and e-punch rental for the event.
Cash or check only. We do not currently accept credit cards, debit cards, or mobile payments at most events. A pre-registration option via RunSignUp is being explored — watch event announcements for details.
Reciprocal members are members of another OUSA-affiliated orienteering club (domestic or international), and members of Scouts, JROTC, ROTC, or organized school groups participating in orienteering training.
Family Cap — $15 Maximum
If multiple family members are competing, your total fee for the day is capped at $15. Discounts are applied to each person first, then the family cap is applied if the total exceeds $15.
Example: A family of four — Dad and his younger child on the White course, Mom and older child on the Green course.
- Example: Dad (own e-punch): 5 + Younger Child: 5 + Mom (own e-punch): 5 + Older Child: 8 = 23, capped at 15.
Pre-Registration
Save time at check-in by printing and filling out the registration form before you arrive.
Some events held in partnership with other organizations, such as the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District or the National Trails Recreation & Park District, use separate pre-registration through those organizations’ systems. Fees and payment options may differ for those events. Check the individual event listing for details.
