MVOC actively supports junior orienteers (competitors under 21) through reduced fees, junior-friendly course design, and annual Junior Championship events.
Junior Fees
Juniors (under 21) and students compete for $5 at regular events. MVOC members under 21 compete free.
Junior O Championships
MVOC hosts the annual Junior Orienteering Championships (Jr. O Champs) each spring, typically combined with the Shamrock Hunt event. The event is open to middle and high school competitors across the region.
School & Scout Programs
MVOC works with local schools, scout troops, and youth groups to provide orienteering programs. Contact the President if you’d like to bring orienteering to your group.
